On May 31, the marketing company (planned) of RICH holds the company’s management meetings in a conference room, more than 20 people attended the meeting, including each department manager and office director domestically. August 14^th, good news came from Shanghai RICH GAS Equipment Co., Ltd: the practical and new patent application of PSA air separation equipment’s adsorption tower’s molecular sieve compaction device on Sep 24^th, 2008 has won the approval of National intellectual property rights Bureau and acquired patent certificate on August 14^th. The acquirement of this patent means a lot for the safe&stable running of RICH’s equipment and the guarantee of capacity&purity stability of product gases. 

Following the mature of technological conditions, the PSA air separation equipment that RICH makes shows a tendency of large size. While as the size of equipment gets larger, it is more and more difficult for traditional cylinder compaction device to press the molecular sieve inside adsorption tower tight because of the condensibility of gas, which leads to molecular sieve pulsation and results in capacity reduction and unstable purity of product gas. In view of these problems, Shanghai RICH independently designed a molecular sieve compaction device last year. This practical technolgy connects a non-return type oil cyliner to the upper part of the tradtional gas cylinder with a piston rod. And by making use of the un-condensibility of hydraulic oil, the dynamical stable compaction of molecular sieve is guaranteed.

This compaction device mainly has two parts: one is to use compressed air in adsorption towers to dynamically presse carbon molecular sieve tight. That is to say. Once molecular sieve sinks, cylinder will make compensative movement so as to drive the piston of oil cylinder to move downwards while the excellent function of non-return oil cylinder ensures molecular sieve inside adsorption towers to be pressed tight always so that the intensive movement of molecular sieve is prevented and the stability of product gas capacity and purity is guaranteed;  the other is to utilize limit switch for controlling the position of piston so as to control the working travel of cylinder for warning and equipment shutdown, which guarantees the safe and stable running of equipment.  The application of this practical technology in our equipment greatly improves its safety performance and its advantage enables us to succeed in the intensive competition of counterparts. 

This patent technology is another breakthrough of Shanghai RICH’s technological R&D. It is the great achievement of our strengthened “independent R&D and innovation”, which add a new page to the protection of our intellectual property rights. After three days of site system examination of MA center from july 24^th to 26^th, our products model DT-1200/8、DT-1500/8、DT-1800/8 super-large nitrogen generators for coal mine(underground specially) obtained Mining Products Safety Approval and Certification sucessfully. The acquirement of this certificate indicates our super-large underground nitrogen generator has been granted the approval for serving each coal mine and coal mining bureau.

As “National key high&new-tech enterprise”, we always persist in high beginning and high quality prodcti innovation strategy so as to satisfy the demands of market and bring direct economic benefit or creat greater product value added for users. Since we applied for Mining Products Safety Approval and Certification, our company had been critically strict to the construction of production quality. The sucessful pass of our super-large CMS nitrogen generator for coal mine examination furtherly enhanced our leading status of nitrogen generation technology in application of coal mine fire preventing and extinguishing. On the morning of augustt 18^th, the acceptance meeting of key scientific research project of Tibet autonomous region, “highland household separated oxygen diffusion increase system” that was charged by Tibet Airlines and RICH Air separation Co., Ltd, was hold. The deputy director of Sience&Technology Sector of Tibet autonomous region Mashengjie, secretary Mei Duoji, managing deputy director Chen Xinqiang, deputy director of financial sector CiRENJiacuo, transportation department Chief of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Liufeng amd aviation medical department deputy chief of Southwest Civil Aviation Administration Mr. Ke……etc as well as leader and experts from autonomous region Science&Technology sector, financial sector, CAAC, Southwest Civil Aviation Administration, Tibet Civil Aviation Administration, Airforce Aeromedicine Research Institue and Tibe University attended the meeting.

The meeting started with the overall introduction of this project by the subject team members, which emphasizes the technological innovation and advantages formed by this project. Aeromedicine Research Institue also introduced the physical test index of this system. Later, the meeting came into ardent questioning and discussing. The highly concern of experts and leaders deeply impressed the subject team members and answers were presented by them one after another. The subject team members also recorded experts’ suggestions. Eventually,  this project won unanimous agreement to pass the acceptance after experts’ evaluation.  

Before the meeting was closed, the deputy director Chen Xinqiang presented a summarized speak: “Many years ago, the main leaders of autonomous region had demanded our Science&Technolgoy sector to innovate a kind of oxygen generation product that is able to relieve and solve the problem of Oxygen deficiency for all people in Tibet and contribute to the community. In the past years, the Science&Technolgoy sector has communicated with many companies and investigated a lot of products but failed to find a company, a product that satisfies the requirements of small size, low weight, easy installation, low noise, low purchase cost and running cost, stable running and affordable for ordinary people till the administrative permission of this project. The actual designed and developed product of this project not only satisfies the above requirements but also reduces the equipment investment by 10 times from serval hundred thousand to tens of thousand, which enables the creation of oxygen enriched environment not only as expensive as affordable only by scientific research institue or special organizations but also affordable for ordinary people with its big breakthrough and great contribution. We hope the subject team members can continue optimizing and innovating so as to further reduce the cost of product and enlarge the application areas of it.
